Categories and Fees

Membership subscriptions are collected annually and payment for the first year is required upon application. Please select the correct category and career stage and then use the relevant 'Apply now' link on the right (you may need to scroll right).

At payment, you can to choose to make a one-off payment or set up an annual subscription (students may only select a one-off payment). In either case, you may pay via bank transfer (Direct Debit) or via card payment.

Membership is not open to employees of commercial firms nor to lay persons without professional qualifications.

 

Honorary Membership:

Honorary BSPED membership will occasionally be awarded by the Executive Committee to retired members who have made a significant contribution to the Society, and to the field of paediatric endocrinology and diabetes and have national and international recognition. Honorary members may be clinicians, scientists, nurses or allied health professionals.

If you would like to suggest a colleague for honorary membership, please write to the BSPED Office providing the name of the nominated member and the reasons they fulfil the criteria above.

Nominations will be reviewed by the Executive Committee on an annual basis. Honorary membership will not necessarily be granted every year.
